The Worst Golf Club​

     Welcome to the Worst Golf Club. Here, we welcome golfers who are in a constant struggle to break a 90. If Bogey, or even double bogey, is your goal, you're one of us! The idea behind the club is borrowed from our friends, the Mediocre Bowling Association. If you are a scratch golfer, or are consistent enough to land in the 80s then find another club!      

     The Worst Golf Club will consist of 1 event per month spanning from March-October with a pre-season event drawn up for February. Events will range from every golfer for themselves, 2 on 2s, 4 person scrambles, and Twisted Tea bonuses, plus a few more surprises. Scoring and standings will be based on POINTS awarded per each event. Our inaugural season will find us playing courses on Staten Island, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and New Jersey.     

     The Club's origin has gathered inspiration from Caddyshack, Happy Gilmore, The Tin Cup, Tommy's Honour, John Daly, and the Sandbaggers seen famously via the Spitting Chiclets.
